Our Tasting Room is part of an old barn that was built in the middle of the last century to support Pioneer Orchards. The barn was originally used as a packing shed for orchard grown peaches that were shipped out of the area. Later it was used as a Country Store to sell peaches, pears, apples and cherries grown on the farm. In 2011, owner, Virginia Lange, converted the first floor of the barn to a tasting room. Much of her personal touch is still with us today.
First time visitors are always struck by the warm, friendly environment that awaits them. Nothing pretentious, just a comfortable sense of down-home hospitality. A favorite with many of our visitors is the free regulation size Shuffleboard and 2 Steel-Tip Dart Boards. Several other games are available for those inclined, including 2 regulation horseshoe pits.
Shuffleboard
Enjoy our regulation sized shuffle board. For individuals, or teams of four or six. Take care though, this game can get competitive very quickly. Easy to keep score with our electronic scoring display.
Live Music
Live music every Saturday that pairs nicely with your wine tasting experience.
Dart Boards
If you are a seasoned dart board player or just someone who enjoys throwing darts be sure to try our two professional dart boards. You will still get a lot of fun just watching. Some real professionals drop by to play.
Cornholes
While at Stoneriver Vineyards take a moment to try our two handcrafted Cornhole boards.
Horseshoe Pits
Whether new to the game or a seasoned player you'll enjoy our two new regulation sized horse shoe pits. Relax and enjoy yourself while keeping score with our easy to use peg board scorecard.
Ping Pong
The sound of the ball, the paddle in your hand – playing table tennis is simply fun. StoneRiver is dedicated to creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. What better way to unwind than with a game of ping pong with your friends!
No appointments are required during open hours. Bottles may be purchased for enjoyment at the vineyard. Wine Club members enjoy complimentary tastings for up to 3 guests.
